Brush and Beer Bash!

  • Greenhorn Trailhead Greenhorn Gulch Hailey, ID, 83333 United States (map)

Kick the season off with WRTC’s first summer volunteer event at Greenhorn Gulch.

We will be hosting our first annual Brush and Beer Bash to get our beloved Greenhorn trails in prime shape for the season.

We invite you to show up at the Greenhorn Gulch Trailhead starting around 10am with your mountain bike or hiking shoes. Simply check in with us, grab a pair of loppers or a handsaw to throw in your pack and head out on the trail! At some point in your adventure we ask that you stop and brush 200 feet of trail. (Yes, it’s time to brush back all those nasty choke cherry saplings that whip you in the knuckles!) Take a before and after picture of your work and report back to the trailhead for a free beer!

**Please show up any time after 10 am and be done with your ride or hike at 2pm.

**Bring a backpack that you can ride with and will fit a pair of loppers or small hand-saw.

**Bring cash to buy raffle tickets. Every $10 gets you one entry into our summer raffle.  Awesome prizes include a Kona Process!

**We will be suppling hand tools and beer—please bring your own water and snacks for your adventure.

****We are taking all necessary COVID precautions and following CDC guidelines. We will provide plenty of hand sanitizer and will disinfect tools between users.
