Become a Perpetual Steward
Share the love you have for the trails today, with future generations
Commit to leaving a lasting legacy in the Wood River Valley and for the trails you love.
Become a Perpetual Steward and join the growing number of dedicated, forward-thinking community members who want to ensure a future for our trails.
One of the easiest ways to leave a legacy by becoming a Perpetual Steward is to simply name the Wood River Trails Coalition as a beneficiary in your will and living trust. This is known as a bequest. A bequest may be for a particular dollar amount or percentage of your estate. Estate tax savings may be significant. There are many other ways to contribute to the sustainability of the Wood River Trails Coalition such as:
Charitable Remainder Trust
Charitable Lead Trust
Revocable Living Trust
Charitable IRA Rollover
Charitable Gift Annuity
Gifts of Securities
Life Insurance
Retirement Assets
We encourage you to consult with your attorney or estate planner to help choose your best options and understand the tax implications, or contact us to learn more.
If you have already included the Wood River Trails Coalition in your estate plans, please let us know by downloading and sending us this Letter of Intent. We would be pleased to welcome you as a Perpetual Steward.
