Women's Only Weekend 2023

On July 7, fourteen intrepid volunteers gathered at the Prairie Creek campground with the intention of embarking on a weekend of back country trail work.  Hailing from across Idaho, this group of women came together for our partner-weekend with Idaho Trails Association.  

After going over safety, meeting the other crew members, and getting acquainted with the tools, they hit the trail, ready to tackle whatever they came across.

And the trail sure kept them busy!  Over the three day event, they cleared a whopping 62 trees and brushed an impressive 2.5 miles of trail.  Of course, the work done was only an indication of the true value of the event - to come together around a shared love of and commitment to the trails that give so much in return.
