Work Has Started At Greenhorn!
It’s happening! Yesterday, we started to install the new trail reroute at Greenhorn. This initial trail will take trail users from the start of the Cow Creek trail directly to the third bridge site. Titus Trails will be hard at work this weekend getting the trail installed and then, next week, the USFS will spray a pre-emergent on the trail to help get ahead of summer weeds.
Tentative opening of the trail is slated for NEXT weekend, but that is dependent on a number of things all going right (including the weather). We will have signs up on the trail letting you know what’s up, so please be sure to respect what they’re sayin’
Heads up that this will be a rough trail, and we won’t get to ‘finishing work’ until much later this summer. Once it is open, the best thing that the community can do is walk the trail A LOT. Foot traffic is going to help solidify the trail surface, so we’ll let you know when to get after it!

¡Ya está en marcha! Ayer empezamos a instalar el nuevo desvío del sendero en Greenhorn. Este sendero inicial llevará a los usuarios del sendero desde el inicio del sendero Cow Creek directamente al sitio del tercer puente. Titus Trails estará trabajando duro este fin de semana conseguir el camino instalado y, a continuación, la próxima semana, el USFS rociará un pre-emergente en el camino para ayudar a adelantarse a las malas hierbas de verano.
