City of Ketchum P&Z Gets Serious Work Done on Shadyside

Don’t be fooled by the staged photo—when the City of Ketchum Planning & Zoning crew showed up to volunteer, they were ready to work. After a quick rundown of the day's plan, they jumped right in, making fast work of brushing and raking a full mile of the Shadyside Trail.

It probably didn’t hurt that several members of the crew brought trail, fire, or fieldwork experience to the table. That background showed in the way they tackled the task—efficient, enthusiastic, and not afraid to get their hands dirty.

There were smiles, good conversations, and plenty of teamwork throughout the morning. By the time we wrapped up, Shadyside was looking a lot more open and ride-ready thanks to their efforts.

We’re so grateful to have local partners who are willing to step out from behind their desks and into the dirt. Thanks, Ketchum P&Z!
