Thank You Bike Team!
On Thursday, Sept 18, the Bike Team wrapped up their third and final night of trail work for the season out on the Croy inner loop. It was a dusty fall evening, but that didn’t slow this crew down.
They focused their energy on the corners, clearing out loose rock, cutting back encroaching sage, and giving some much-needed attention to drainage. Along the way, we also paused for a quick conversation about brake bumps—how they form, and why soil moisture makes such a difference when we’re working to manage them.
It was a great mix of effort and learning, with engaged volunteers who were ready to dig in and take something new away from the experience. Thanks to the team’s dedication across this whole season, the trails are in better shape heading into fall, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the work they put in.
